Hec, I wanted to be the first to move cargo on the Shuttle. But business had another route for me. My employer invited me to breakfast one day to say "The Company is restructuring." I was not part of the reorganization! That was the start of a new career.
What did I do? I started my own business marketing point-of-sale devices. While building that business, I discovered the earning potential for commission salespeople was unmatched.
