Professional automobile salespeople follow a similar pattern - the basics. In selling cars there is rarely a second chance to close. If your income is based on commission and you do not get it right the first time, you will go hungry.

I did it. And I am not a sales guy. My background is logistics and distribution. I liked moving stuff around - air, ground, ocean. But business had another plan for me. My employer invited me to breakfast one day to say "The Company is restructuring." I was not part of the reorganization! That was the start of a new career.
What did I do? I started my own business marketing point-of-sale devices. While building that business, I discovered the earning potential for commission salespeople is unmatched.

I am going to share selling skills that closed more deals than other more experienced, more seasoned, more knowledgeable salespeople.
I sold that point-of-sale business and purposely moved into car sales. What is significant is that I took automobile salesman positions in communities where I had no ties, no background, no contacts. I chose those locations to demonstrate the selling tips I studied and practiced could be duplicated. And they were. In each car salesman position, I moved to the top one percent.
